The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by President Marty Rosenberg with the formal opening ceremony.
The minutes of last week's General Meeting were read and accepted as with the minutes of the Executive Committee Meeting of December 13, 1964
The Treasurer's Report was read by Roger Crouse:

Service Committee report was given by Steve Pretanik which included; APO assistance is needed to distribute these are from the coat check room of the Student Union to the commuters. This is required on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week from one to 4 p.m.. Also a help is necessary for the Student Senate elections on this Thursday, December 17, 1964 in the Student Union. We will man the booths.
The two membership announcements were given by Denny Myshrall and John Kucharski which are: initiation is to be in the basement of the first Baptist Church at 8 p.m. on December 17. There will be a Membership Committee meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 1964 in Memorial Hall. All those who have speaking parts in the virtual are urged to attend. Paragraph the Administration Report was given by Third Vice President Larry Reinhardt. Larry mentioned the APO and GSS caroling on Wednesday, December 16, 1964. Those who are attending will meet in front of Arnold House. There will be three cars leaving at 6:30 p.m. and one car leaving at 7:30 p.m.
Marty read a letter from the national president Lester R. Steig commending Dave Arlen on the second newsletter.
The Torch and Trefoil are in.
Three men are needed for the installation of WPI this Friday night at 5:30 p.m.. The people who volunteered for this are Ross Jones, Glenn Moore, Dave Arlen and, and Jack Kooyoomjian.
The ex-committee meeting Thursday, December 17 at 11:15 a.m.. The place will be posted on the bulletin board.
Finance committee meeting Thursday, December 17 11:15 a.m. in the chapter room.
Move: that, with the consent of the JFK Committee, $600 of the $900 profit from the Clancy Brothers concert be presented to the JFK Committee at this time with the remaining $300 to be put in escrow for next year's homecoming concert, the $300 to be paid to the JFK committee when more than $300 profit is realized.
